Continuing Professional Development and Events Calendar

The CTIC Education Program is designed to help the legal community satisfy their yearly continuing professional development (CPD) credits. Our presentations are accredited by the various bodies, as required. Please contact your Regional Manager to request a CPD session in your region. We currently have several well-crafted presentations ready to go which deliver real benefits to the legal community. We will continue to create new material to enhance our offering and keep pace with current standards of practice in the real estate industry.

Why Title, Fraud and Commercial Title Insurance – November 9, 2022

  • 9:30 am: Introduction to Title insurance, Residential – We will discuss the various aspects of residential title insurance and how it can add value to your client’s real estate transactions. Presenters Sameera Malik and Jeff Hartigan. Earn 0.45 professional hours!
  • 10:15 am: Fraud Prevention – We will share valuable tips on private lender transactions, preventing real estate transactions and ID authentication fraud. Presenters Sarah McDonald and Joseph Wee. Earn 1 professional hour!
  • 11:15 am: Introduction to Title insurance, Commercial– We will discuss the various aspects of commercial title insurance and how it can add value to your client’s real estate transactions. Presenters  Sameera Malik, Jeff Hartigan and Sarah McDonald. Earn 0.50 professional hours!
